Understanding VRM
A Voltage Regulator Module, commonly known as a VRM, is a critical component on a motherboard or graphics card. Its main role is to convert power from the power supply into a voltage level that sensitive components like the CPU and GPU can safely use. Without a properly designed VRM, even the most powerful processor cannot perform reliably.
How VRM Works
VRMs manage power by stepping down higher voltages and delivering clean, consistent current to processors. They respond dynamically to workload changes, increasing or decreasing power as needed.
