My son was bullied and did get beat up once by three boys. He came to me and I told him how to protect himself and he did after that and has had no problems since. I have never understood why parents leave their young child with a stranger like day care centers. Certainly the money you save isn't worth the risk. As far as bullying goes...kids are like sponges that absorb what's around them. If your child is exposed to a lot of violence like spousal abuse or violent video, this will be absorbed.
